"Chasing The Dragon" refers to the elusive pursuit of a high equal to the user’s first use of a drug, which after acclimation is no longer achievable. This series explores art as a form of intoxication through film, symbolism, color, light & surrealism. It aims to seduce the viewer, and promise them things they might never grasp again.
As a survivor of opiate addiction, this series has deep healing roots in its meaning for the photographer.

BOBBY COYOTE is a Transmasc Multidisciplinary Artist and Photographer living in Los Angeles. His work specializes in film and uses a variety of cameras ranging from Polaroid to Medium Format and 35mm as well as different film types, both color and black & white; often experimenting with blur, light, projections, focus and vintage gear.
