Beach House Aerie

Perched cliff-side in Big Sur, this house literally soars over the Pacific. Despite its dramatic location and extensive use of steel and poured-in-place concrete, the house is a very private, Zen-like, calming retreat. We created powerful, organically-inspired custom furnishings to step up to the power of the strong architecture - while at the same time using a quiet palette and luxurious textures of cashmere, sheepskin and suede to give a sense of warmth, softness and security.
