Design Studio
Hidden amongst the rich tapestry of old Tannery warehouse buildings, our studio space is just off the vibrant and colourful Bermondsey Street in London.
The building we are in is a former leather factory, with each floor converted into different studio spaces. The iconic original pine pillars, which celebrate the history and heritage of this space, are still present.
The studio’s style is refined, eclectic and pared back. We have created a serene, comfortable and welcoming environment that is domestic in feel. This is achieved with layers of soothing natural materials and plenty of warm textures. The space is open and airy, with a long sharing table where designers all sit together.
The open plan kitchen area creates a feeling of being at home. Bespoke Crittall style screens divide the space whilst allowing light to travel and adding a level of privacy.
The sample library is one of the most used spots in the studio, centred around an antique primitive table. This is where we frequently work on our sample boards and is the gathering spot for team lunches and drinks.
Furniture is a carefully selected combination of old and new; light and dark timbers mix with aged leather, bouclé and cane upholstery. Many of the pieces come with their own story, with some dating back to the seventeenth century.
