Franklin Hills

A cozy home, in Los Angeles' Franklin Hills neighborhood, for a family of writers.

During the discovery process, we unearthed that one of the clients loved color and traditional patterns, while the other was more drawn to a muted palette and understated selections; they both had an affinity for vintage pieces and eclectic vibes. The end result is a fun & livable space full of unique finishes & inviting textiles.

The home's stand out space is most definitely the dining room. Burl wood can often feel formal, but the clients’ lifestyle is much more relaxed. Pairing the table with vintage French 1950s garden chairs with rush seats, provided a nice counterpoint to the table and a great textural mix.
