The Folly is an architectural experiment that frames views of the dramatic landscape. It is nestled on a lagoon peninsula within a grove of umbrella pines. The journey of the space begins with an introspective focus on the ground floor, centered around a fire pit, which is bathed in natural light from the oculus directly above. As one progresses up the intricate network of stairs the gazes gradually shift towards the outside until they alight on the roof, with a panoramic view of the landscape and ocean.
