In this renovation and decoration of a 3500 square foot coop on the Upper East Side, divergent collections of Italian design, Art Deco bronzes and Tang Dynasty terra cotta are unified within a classically organized floor plan. Clients sought to take their downtown sensibility uptown, so we layered vivid palettes, custom-designed textiles and textured wall coverings to eschew traditional good taste in favor of radical eclecticism.
