San Francisco has always held a particular fascination for me. Perhaps it's the fog and Hitchcockian world of the late 1950's as seen in Vertigo. Recently I was lucky enough to have several projects in the city and I leased a vintage apartment on Nob Hill. It's designed around the tonal blacks, whites and grays of film noir. The effect is calming yet atmospheric.
