Rock Star Chic
This project was a renovation of renowned drummer/percussionist Richard Grea’s Palm Springs Spanish Villa of 3,500 square feet. The base for the project was leopard carpeting and charcoal walls in the master bedroom, from that King, took inspiration and utilized Vintage Designer furnishings with brass details, pieces by Milo Baughman, Breuton and Steve Chase and mixed them with custom pieces by Natuzzi, along with luxurious finishes such as shagreen leather. Brazilian tigerwood and amethyst stone were also used throughout the home. The project tied together with very unique art, a large scale graffiti triptych a la Basquiat done by an unknown artist in Palm Springs in the early 1980s, a vintage pop-art Rolling Stones poster, and a unique 1950s fire engine red funhouse mirror from Asbury Park, that was notably on stage with the late Jimi Hendrix.
