Upper East Side Townhouse

Family Home di Apartment 48 a New York, NY

Rayman Boozer, wanted this brownstone to be filled with vivid colors and textures while also highlighting the outdoor garden.

“The brownstone was built in 1901 as a multifamily home, but the family gutted it entirely, turning it into a single-family residence. The only part of the original structure that remains is the front door. Renovations took nearly five years, including an approximately 12-month period during which construction was halted due to the pandemic. The long delay caused many challenges in both the construction and design process, as securing a consistent contractor became difficult.”
