Where did Salvador Dalí live?

Salvador Dalí lived in Spain throughout much of his life. He was born in Figueres, Spain, and died in the same city on January 23, 1989. He relocated to Paris, France, from 1936–39 to flee the Spanish Civil War. In 1940, he took his family to Monterrey, California, due to the violence of World War II.
