18 x 14 inch drawing on 20 x 16 inch Aquarelle Arches Paper 24 x 20 x .5 inches framed Thin profile black metal frame, 8 ply white mat Ralph Stout's works on paper reveal a draughtsman's attitude toward abstract form. This is a contemporary cubist inspired abstract drawing of a windmill and floral vines. Heavy contrast of dark black and gray pop against the white 8 ply mat. Drawing is on a thick, archival watercolor paper. The artist currently lives and works in East Hampton, NY. More drawings available in this series. Established in 1991 as the first fine art gallery in Hudson, NY, Carrie Haddad Gallery represents professionally committed artists as well as emerging talent specializing in all types of painting, both large and small sculpture, works on paper and a variety of techniques in photography. Occupying 3000 sq ft. on Warren Street, the gallery is conveniently located just two hours north of Manhattan. The annual exhibition schedule accommodates 8 exhibits on the main floor as well as a rotating selection of photography displayed on the second floor.
