This is a celebration of Spring with pink flowers and blue birds painted on a thick round watercolor paper sheet measuring 16 inches (41cm) in diameter. the tondo shaped surface heightens the illusion of movement .The free paint strokes give this work a breezy feeling. Hints of metallic blue paint make the surface active ( see last pic for elusive metallic shiny bits)
