In 2018, Steward has created two large public murals, “Breaker of Chains”, a 200’ by 6’ in height mural for the RTA in Cleveland and “Support” in Midtown on Detroit Avenue in Cleveland. A new mural project has been commissioned for SUMMA Health Care, Akron, Ohio. Stewards works are in the permanent collection of Art NEO, Akron Art Museum, Canton Art Museum of Art, Davis Art Museum at Wellesley College, Flint Institute of Arts, Joel and Lila Harnett Museum of Art, Minneapolis Institute of Art, CARTA, University of Delaware Museum, Swope Art Museum, Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Metro Health Hospital Collection, and the Federal Reserve Bank, Cleveland, Art Collection. In addition, Stewards works are in private collections from California to New York. Steward is the 2018 recipient of the The 2018 Emerging Artist Award of the Cleveland Arts Prize. Steward was chosen for the jurried Front International, The Great Lakes Research, Cleveland Institute of Art, Reinberger Gallery, July 21st - August 4th, 2018 Stewards first museum exhibition, Our Separated Selves, recently closed at the Canton Museum of Art. An upcoming exhibition opens at the Swope Art Museum, Terre Haute, Indiana in January of 2019.
