About the Item
Interior of a house is a fine original drawing (China ink and watercolor on paper). Unsigned. This artwork could be attributed to Thomas Stothard.
In spite of the small dimensions, the drawing is very coincise and sweet. In very good conditions, except for a diffused yellowing of the paper and a light abrasion on the left margin. On the lower right corner of the verso, there is a blue-ink stamp.

Thomas Stothard was an English Neoclassical painter, a close friend of the artists John Flaxman, Henry Fusseli, and William Blake.
