Saint Michael is an original modern artwork realized between the end of the XIX and the beginning of the XX Century.

Beautiful black and white drawing realized in charcoal and black pencil depicting the archangel Michael victorious over the Evil. The composition is extremely sophisticated and the chiaroscuro creates very intense contrasts. The angel's face is very androgynous and turns upwards. Michael is holding the spear with which he has just defeated the Evil. Saint Michael the Archangel serves as the patron saint of sick people who are suffering from any type of illness. He is also a patron saint of people who work in dangerous conditions such as military personnel, police, security officers, paramedics, sailors, and grocers. Saint Michael is the leader of all the holy angels above Gabriel, Raphael, and Uriel. He is often working on missions to fight evil, proclaim God's truth.
