A charming 19th Century view of Nideck, Alsace in France. The artist has wonderfully captured the complex architecture and bustling nature of the town. The artist has signed to the lower right and inscribed the location to the lower left. The painting has been handsomely presented in an early 20th Century gilt frame with delicate swept rail and corners, featuring acanthus leaves and a sell cartouche. The frame is finished with an wide internal gilt slip with an inscription of the artist's name and the location of the painting. On paper.
