A very nice pair of drawings that are well handles and representing snapshots of daily in the early 19th Century. It is unclear whether these are scenes local to him or whether they would have been untaken on the Grand Tour. One can tell he one prizes for his engraving with his ensured style. His father was the famous painter Jean Pillement.
