Figura femminile nuda con i capelli lunghi sciolti, seduta frontale, con accanto un vaso di fiori (matita su carta, 31 x 22 cm) firmato e datato a penna "G. Peyron 1947" .
Guido Peyron è un importante artista attivo soprattutto nella prima metà del XX secolo. Nato a Firenze da una famiglia proveniente dal Nord Italia, si arruolò come volontario nella Prima Guerra Mondiale e si dedicò alle corse automobilistiche.
Iniziò ad interessarsi all'arte solo in età adulta, dalla metà degli anni Venti, ispirato dalle lezioni di Ludovico Tommasi, e diventò un assiduo frequentatore delle mostre italiano, ricevendo la stima dell'élite culturale del periodo. Alla carriera artistica dal 1942, unì anche quella di insegnante presso il Liceo Artistico di Firenze.
Morì nella sua città natale nel 1960.

Guido Peyron
Guido Peyron was born in Florence on 15 January, 1898. His father was from Piemonte and his mother was from Lombardia. He studied at the Technical Institute and he participated as a volunteer at the First World War and Second World War. In 1920 and 1921, he was a car racer. He started to paint in 1924. Peyron’s teacher was Lodovico Tommasi. In 1942, he became a professor at the Art School in Florence. He died in 1960.
