About Lapis and Flos series: Laforey recent ceramic works are unique pieces that alter in patterns to give an illusion of movement and depth by using clay’s potential for building sculptural dimension. The repetitive use of a unique element, the circle is centered to her work. The circle has often been associated with the female and to Mother Earth.
