OPHEAR is an American artist that lives and works in Israel. He channels his ideas through daring art that pushes the boundaries of visual creativity. OPHEAR has a passion and joy for creating a wide variety of images in varied formats, frequently inspired by surrealist, impressionist, pointillist, and even Hindu/Buddhist and tribal art. He uses a mix of digitally created art and photography with creative 3D manipulations and elements to evoke varied responses in the viewer. One category of OPHEAR's art work is the modern day digital pointillism, reminiscent of Seurat, in which he creates impressions of objects such as human or animal eyes and faces. The mind's ability to connect, blend and bend the disparate dots and colors into varied compositions adds another dimension to the art. Working on large sheets of magnesium, the pigment is printed on sheet of metal before being placed into an industrial oven. This technique of "pigment infused metal" gives an illusion of depth and vibrancy to each image. "The Unfiltered Series", projects an unavoidable part of human behavior that is at the core of its very own existence. The unfiltered human experience can sometimes suggest a darker side which is more common than not, rooted within the primitive brain and the instinctual self. The body of work is also a refreshing depiction of openness, purity and authenticity. It is depicted in dots that soften the context thus lessening the viewer's instinctive tendency to recoil. It projects sensuality, female empowerment, evolving sexual preferences and contemporary behavioral observations in a rich display of dynamic human interplay and beauty.

- Singing a Song to a LeopardBy Casey McGlynnLocated in Denver, COThis is a very active and textured painting. There are figures outline in red while guitars fall in line with them. There are various animals (bears, birds, cats) littered across the canvas. Each subject matter is contained by its own box of color, as if claiming its real estate on the canvas. The background colors are mostly blue. To view more images, pelase send us a message. Casey McGlynn grew up in rural Ontario, where he would sit in front of the television and draw on old grocery bags and scrap paper tirelessly, creating self-taught surrealist pop art. McGlynn attended the Ontario College of Art and Design, however, he was not enrolled in the visual arts. McGlynn’s work contains reoccurring symbols such as animals from his upbringing, birds from his studio window sill and numbers that derive from when he memorized math tables in his early years. McGlynn’s work is as much about revealing the truth and expressing emotions as it is about documenting actual fact. His paintings reach into a wealth of historical influence and skill. Creating symphonic glyphs on rudimentary, raw quilt-like patterns, the works simultaneously evoke rural Southern quilts...Category

- "Young Man with a Device", acrylic, mixed media, collage, painting, technologyBy John BakerLocated in Natick, MAJohn Baker’s “Young Man with a Device” is a 19 x 15 x 1.5 inch acrylic painting with collage on canvas depicting a youth possessively clutching a technological device. The large, dark device is an ominous presence that contrasts dramatically with the pastel pinks, yellows and russets of his face and garments, a contrast echoed in the divided background, which is half light half dark. The young man grasps the device with a tension, even a desperation that belies the serenity of his facial expression. The sides are unpainted and the painting is signed and dated on the reverse. The painting is housed in a vintage, gilded Arts and Crafts style frame...Category
