- Guanacaste 1, Abstract Photography on Archival Ink Jet Paper, Mounted in PlexiBy Joanie LandauLocated in Armonk, NYGuanacast 1 30" x 30" Abstract Photography Digital Collagraph Printed on Archival Ink Jet Paper Face Mounted to 1/4" Plexiglass This piece symbolizes renewal, birth and hope in a world that is in the midst of dark times. I felt a change in my own spirit once the Northeast doldrums lifted slightly and the daylight hours got longer, imagining flowers blooming out of my own body. I love working with saturated color as well as starkly contrasting black and whites and very often do a study of the same piece in all its beautiful transformations.
