"The enchanted woods lie somewhere between hither and thither, filled with the magic of dew drops and the flittering light of moonbeams and fireflies," shares artist Andrea Doss. The delightful bunny and the fox host tranquil tea parties, extending their warm invitations to the nearby woodland creatures. Every mid-morning, they gather and partake in the merry-making and tale-telling.
About the Artist
Andrea Doss discovered that there were stories hiding in her paintbrush, and has been bringing them to life with her art ever since. Her paintings capture the essence of children’s books and lullabies. Andrea’s love for fairytales and storytelling is evident in her personification of animal friendships and activities. Adventurous, sweet, and whimsical are appropriate words to describe the artist’s fanciful characters. Andrea lives in Texas and works from her home, always closely supervised by her opinionated one-eyed cat named Poe.

Jaime Ellsworth paints animals. Her career as a cowhand never got off the ground, so she stumbled into art never knowing it would complement her passion for animals so completely. Most subjects are her own, but lately she has expanded out of her corral to include bears and beasts not commonly seen on San Juan Island, in the Pacific Northwest, where she's lived for the last 30 years.
