Colorful contemporary abstract depiction of the classical Pieta scene of the Virgin Mary and Jesus, each wearing bright yellow masks against a red background. Signed by artist along front left edge. Currently unframed, but options are available.
Artist Biography: Fernando Videa is a Latin, modern, figurative contemporary painter/ performance artist. He began drawing classes at the Glassell School of Art. In order to improve his skills, he took private lessons at Lassaulx art studio. He’s experimenting with different theories, techniques and ideas, sometimes incorporating a little bit of drama in his work. When he is not painting, he enjoys performing on stage. Fernando lives and works in Houston Texas.
