Field of patterns blue is an original abstract painting by artist Fleur Park. Featuring her signature use of pattern and geometric shapes. This painting contains a sophisticated colour palette and considered use of negative space in her compositions. Fleur Parks art is influenced by the push and pull of her country life vs her old city life. The juxtaposition of these two is seen in most of her work. The fields that surround her in her country life and in her childhood give her the sense of home and space. Colour is also an important factor for Fleur as she is influenced by nature and natural raw colours found within the environment.
