Cradle of the First People, Painting, Oil on Wood Panel

2019

About the Item

This is an original, one-of-a-kind painting on 0.9 (2.4 cm) thick wood panel done in oil. My greatest struggle is understanding the lion symbolism in ancient, and modern times. In alchemy, the lion’s roar issues forth the Word of the sun, which implies that the magma at the earth’s core, and the lion’s roar itself, are linked by the same vibration.Zulus believe that the sun is directly linked with the golden core at the center of the Earth . Out of this life itself was born.... Here are the facts that inspired me to create the "Cradle of the First People." 1) Indigenous group from South Africa, Zulu, have a legend about the beings from the stars who came to excavate gold and other natural resources. Their mines were worked by slaves created by the “First People.” The stone structure I depicted on the left side of the painting shows the Adam’s Calendar. It is the ancient structure in Mpumalanga province in South Africa. This region is filled with ancient gold mines, and even nowadays, the richest gold mine is located in this area. 2) There are 3 stone monoliths in Adam’s Calendar aligned to the three stars of Orion's Belt . The same pattern is visible in other massive structures on this planet such as, 3 pyramids on the Giza Plateau, Teotihuacan, three mesas of the Hopi, …. to name a few. What is the meaning of all these alignments? 3) Did you know that gold reflects infrared light, which makes it a good heat shield? According to Zecharia’s Sitchin theory, tablets from the Sumer, the cradle of civilization from ancient Mesopotamia, depict extraterrestrial group, the Anunnaki who came to Earth and “created” humans c. 450 000 years ago. This group was mining Earth’s natural resources, specifically gold, which they needed to rebuilt the atmosphere of their planet. Artist Statement "In my work I explore the spiritual relation between humans and animals. By creating highly stylized oil paintings with the moving wave like sections of colors, I am able to represent the divine connection between everything on this planet and the universe. The starting points for my research are myths, legends, and belief systems of indigenous people of the African continent that are often ignored, banished or misrepresented by a Western education. Over time, my research is leading me to question the origins of humanity, which makes finding the answer as to why humans perceive and treat animals the way they do more perplexing and intriguing. My current body of work centers around the symbolism of lion in Africa. This feral being is worshipped throughout the continent, starting from the Zulu legend of the white lion in South Africa and moving North to the mysterious Sphinx in Egypt. I read the books of the Zulu sangoma and storyteller, Credo Mutwa, conservationist from the South Africa, Linda Tucker, and the works of Robert Bauval, Graham Hancock, Robert M. Schoch, John Anthony West and many more involved in the topic regarding the origin of the Sphinx. My research guides me in the space where legends and myths are seen as integral parts of the history while always surrounded by the stigma of ignorance and disbelief." - Irina Pushkareva :: Painting :: Abstract :: This piece comes with an official certificate of authenticity signed by the artist :: Ready to Hang: Yes :: Signed: Yes :: Signature Location: On the back of the wood panel :: Wood Panel :: Portrait :: Original :: Framed: Yes :: Framed size 26.0"h x 20.0"w x 2.0"d
