About the Item
Frohsin began exhibiting in the San Francisco Bay Area in the early 1990s, and in 1993 was included with Nathan Olivera, Manuel Neri and Stephen De Staebler in an exhibit of "Four Figures from the Bay." With Wayne Thiebaud as the juror, she won the California Society of Printmakers' Award in 1996, and the following year exhibited at the de Young Museum in San Francisco in "Bay Area Art: The Morgan Flagg Collection." Frohsin is at home with painting, drawing, monoprintIng, and mixed media.
Spade of Skies' is 22 x 22 inches, professionally framed in a white maple floater frame with an outer dimension of 23 x 23 inches. A thoroughly exciting artwork with pop appeal and visual zest, from Frohsin's striped and multiple layered series 2009-2011.
