“Levitation” is part of the continuing art series that explores themes of mindfulness, awareness and presence vis-à-vis virtues that exist within everyone. Albeit composed of only one color, the white texture and presence of the subject of the work communicate a stronger yet subtle message of uplifting awareness. This work can be hanged or stand on a shelf so it is versatile both in location and presence, and its three dimensions enable it to be dynamic with both varying lights, shadows, and angles. Nevertheless, the direction and form of the work gives it a transcending presence that defies gravity. “Levitation” is lifting, it goes above and beyond, it is not bound by our gravity or by direction, and yet its color and composition are pure and uplifting.
