GLI ABISSI DELL'ANIMA - Original modern abstract painting-contemporary Art

2023

About the Item

Embark on a journey into the profound depths of the soul with Luigi Profeta's mesmerizing creation, "GLI ABISSI DELL’ANIMA." This original abstract painting, rendered in mixed media on canvas, invites viewers to explore the intricate landscapes of emotion and contemplation that unfold within its captivating composition. Profeta's masterful use of mixed media creates a rich tapestry of textures that adds a tactile quality to the artwork. The canvas comes alive with abstract representations of landscapes, their forms emerging organically from the artist's expressive strokes. These textured landscapes, layered with depth and complexity, suggest an exploration of the mysterious and often turbulent realms within the human soul. Against a dark red background that evokes a sense of passion and intensity, patches of golden light emerge, casting a warm and ethereal glow. These golden accents serve as beacons of hope and illumination amidst the depths, offering a visual metaphor for the transformative power of introspection and self-discovery. The color scheme of deep reds and radiant golds creates a striking contrast, emphasizing the duality inherent in the human experience. The interplay of these colors, coupled with the textured landscapes, conjures a sense of drama and emotional resonance, encouraging viewers to reflect on the intricacies of their own inner worlds. The painting is signed by Luigi Profeta, a mark of the artist's connection to the work and a testament to its authenticity. Ready to be displayed, "GLI ABISSI DELL’ANIMA" is more than a painting; it is an evocative exploration of the complexities that lie beneath the surface of our consciousness. For those seeking to bring this profound piece into their lives, "GLI ABISSI DELL’ANIMA" is currently available for purchase at Signet Contemporary Art in Chelsea and online. Don't miss the opportunity to own a work of art that transcends the boundaries of the abstract, inviting contemplation and introspection into your living space. Artist biography: Luigi Profeta was born on July 13, 1969, and he currently works and lives in Cormano in Milan, Italy. Luigi’s oeuvre is defined by an exploration into light, geometry and colour which is investigated through various mediums including painting, sculpture and photography. Developing a natural propensity towards art from a young age, Luigi achieves a perfect union between different modes of expression that he has long enjoyed and practiced in. In 1939, the artist opened a knitwear workshop with his wife, Rosella, where he created his first drawings and paintings. Eager to engage with his artistic potential more, and encouraged to continue by the master Alfonso Madaluni, he decided to close the knitwear workshop and devote himself exclusively to art. Not long after, Luigi has a successful solo show, his debut exhibition, which launches his professional journey in the art world. Influenced by artists such as Kandinsky, who demonstrated geometric and compositional rigor, his works are pictosculptures, carefully studied and meditated. The works conceal the artist’s soul between shapes and colours. A cathartic soul seeks to externalize his emotions through collective psychology, that is, to speak not only of himself but of each of us. Luigi usitilises his photography experience to collaborate with private laboratories and national photographers. He is offered various works on commission that allows him to continue to cultivate the dream of painting. In 2004, he begins providing photography and paint classes for artists who wish to learn new techniques. Over the years, this has become a daily activity. He performs demonstrations in schools and kindergartens, in the same years. In 2013, he founded the Artistic Cultural Center Click Art, where he is president and art director. In 2015 he founded the artistic movement Psicoavanguardia. He has to his credit more than 200 personal and collective exhibitions. His works of art are in international collections including in Albania, Armenia, Belgium, France, Greece, Germany, Italy, Massachusetts, Netherlands, Spain, Swiss, and Taiwan.
