Acrylic on canvas abstract painting by Polish artist Marianna Stuhr. The composition is build from shapes made out of different density paint. Artist reffers to cosmic phenomenons and sometimes, although her artworks appear to be strictly abstract, when comparing subject of her painting to photo of said event, there is great similiarity visible.
MARIANNA STUHR
Graduated from Faculty of Graphic Art at Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow as well as doctoral studies at Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. For a few years, she works in fields of artistic printmaking and graphic design. She's a laureate of many awards and scholarships. Stuhr took part in many exhibitions, competitions and workshops both in Poland and abroad. Her artworks are part of Fondazione Italo-Svedese in Venice, Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, Polish Woodcut Quadriennale in Olsztyn, International Association Graphics Triennale in Cracow, University of Connecticut in Connecticut, Real Stories Gallery (Foundation Arts for Humanity) in Durban (RPA).
