Chaplin comments: "This painting was inspired by the reflection of the blue sky on the river that flowed through the garden in the water gardens in Amiens (Hortillonnages) . This painting is made with high quality acrylic paint on linen canvas."
This work has a highly contemporary feel as Mary Chaplin has used a dripping technique with the paint to give the work more texture and bright the piece to life.
Not framed but ready to be hung.
