Nan's work features thick and lush oil paints which are leaping and flowing on the canvas and you can not help but recall a torrent of water coming out of a hose, finding its own tunnels in the ground. Nan is a spontaneous artist, not an impulsive one. Her canvases are thought out methodically and executed with tremendous force.
