I started off wanting to explore lots of different shades of gold with unusual gold textures and paint, including spray paint, gold leaf, pearlised paint etc, this became the under painting as it needed something else - and my husband said I needed some colour pops. For some reason when I had finished and put it against a dark grey wall in the studio it came to life in a way I had never thought it would and everyone visiting the studio loved it. It was quite a surprise! The Photos show how the light effects the gold and the colours - it constantly changes depending on where the light is - the gold shifts.
