There is a beige cracked egg shell to the left side of the painting and at the top and top right sit two whole blue eggs. This piece measures at 24" x 24" and is ready to hang. About the Artist: Samantha Buller received her BFA in painting from the Academy of Art University San Francisco and now paints full time in her home studio in Northern California. Her work reflects the beautiful light and modernism that is found in the area. Samantha's artwork is striking, happy, and experimental. She utilizes imaginative color layering and lively brushwork to invite a fresh take on familiar, common place objects. She is inspired by the art of the late Wayne Thiebaud, especially in his paint application, color pallet and composition. Buller is also inspired by the artist Raimonds Staprans for his layering techniques. Samantha studied a semester abroad in Italy, which greatly influenced her love and passion for art.
