Nancy Pellatt's "Curiosity" a charming detailed watercolor of 3 foxhound dogs, from the Orange County Hounds in Virginia, who are curiously sniffing what is on other side of the bars. The Foxhound dogs' instincts, with their noses pressed through the bars, are humorously depicted in this dog painting. Nancy Pellatt's detailed realistic paintings of dogs are reminiscent of 19th century watercolors. The painting is framed in an attractive frame with a mat and glass; the outside dimensions with frame are 15 1/2" x 17 1/2".
Nancy Pellatt's work hangs in many private collections nationally and in Europe, as well as having appeared in numerous art exhibits throughout the country; including The National Arts Club in NYC, The Salmagundi Club in NYC and The International Museum of the Horse at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, KY.
