Sunday morning. 2020. Oil on canvas, 30x60 cm Valery Bayda (1958) Valery Bayda was born in 1958 in Russia. From 1983 to 1989 he studied at the All-Union State Institute of Cinematography at the Faculty of Arts. Taken part in exhibitions since 1983. Had personal exhibitions in Riga, Madona, Kraslava, Jekabpils, Cesis, Valmiera, Jurmala and the city of Poland, Lodz. The artist is actively participates in group exhibitions in Latvia and abroad. Since 1990, member of the Artists` Union of Russia. Since 2007 - member of the Artists’ Union of Latvia . For twenty-one years Valery Bayda lives in Latvia. His artistic style is characterized by a virtuoso color brushwork, which gives the work life. The artist creates classical compositions and uses pure colors.
