"Jesus y Los Pescadores" by Alvar Sunol is an original oil on canvas painting and measures 59 x 59 inches. This painting incorporates Alvar's favorites drawing inspiration of mixing the old with the new, the masters, such as Picasso, still lifes, interiors, bold color, and modern figures. This painting is Alvar's representation of The Miraculous Catch of fish or more traditionally the Miraculous Draught of Fish(es). The miracles are reported as taking place years apart from each other, but in both miracles, apostles are fishing unsuccessfully in the Sea of Galilee when Jesus tells them to try one more cast of the net, at which they are rewarded with a great catch (or "draught", as in "haul" or "weight"). Either is thus sometimes called a "miraculous draught of fish". Painting comes framed.
