Andrea Vandoni
Andrea Vandoni is an Italian artist born in 1972 who lives and works in Novara, Italy.
Vandoni studied and trained at the School of the Archaeologists and the School of Nude at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan, Italy. His research and artistic inspiration is all focused on a relative and subjective realism that sometimes becomes completely imaginary. Vandoni’s works impress and amaze for their realism and attention to detail. The subjects of his paintings are intriguing female figures and objects, mainly rounded coffee pots. It is a dichotomy between the realism of its women and the symbolism of the coffee makers which, like the first, are able to offer intense aromas and flavors.
Vandoni has exhibited in important galleries all over the world, in museums and has received several awards for his work. He was awarded first prize at the third International Painting Competition Piero della Francesca of Arezzo in 2008 and second prize at the International Art Competition of Beverly Hills, California, in 2009.

- tempio di Antonino e FaustinaLocated in Milano, MIUrbex is the English acronym for urban exploration and is an activity that consists of searching for and locating abandoned infrastructure with the goal of visiting, photographing and conveying its contents, with particular involvement of methodologies from geography, anthropology, sociology to cultural studies. Her works have been in the past approached to the works of Anselm Kiefer (b. 1945) and Giovanni Battista Piranesi (1720-1770), but in Gullotta's paintings the absence of color makes the spaces particularly ethereal, allowing them to be ideally lifted to new places and to new life. We often speak of a "brain drain," but in this case we are truly happy to be able to say that this is a "return," and an important one: an artist of international caliber who has decided to entrust her return to her homeland to Almach Art...Category
