This unique piece in style of all other paintings by German- Dutch painter Bart Koning you could call a still-life painting of a fowl. In his typical and unique hyper realistic painting style Bart Koning always searches for silence and balance.
He likes to paint his subject in real size. This Fowl he painted in a series he called 'Junge Tiere' ( Young animals) among them very small pieces of 10 cm's of a young rabbit. Also bigger pieces like this, life size, painting of a fowl.
Bart Koning works and lives in Kassel in Germany. Before he went to Germany he studied art at the Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. His exhibitions in (Dusseldorf, Kassel, München, Amsterdam, Nuenen, etc) have made him an artist who belongs to worldwide collections.
