A large, American Impressionist oil study of a young woman wearing an orange blouse and contrasted against a scumbled blue and coral background. A substantial Modernist figural study by this listed, mid-century California painter who exhibited at the Laguna Beach Art Association and received first prize for his portrait entry at the 1963 Bullock's Fashion Square Art Exhibit.
