She played a crucial role in the pantheon's complex family dynamics and the overthrow of the Titans by the Olympians. Rhea was born to Uranus (the sky) and Gaia (the Earth), making her one of the Titans, the primordial beings who ruled the cosmos before the Olympian gods. She was known for her beauty and fertility. However, what makes Rhea particularly significant is her role as the mother of the six principal Olympian gods: Zeus, Hera, Poseidon, Hades, Demeter, and Hestia.
