This large scale painting depicts the trials and tribulations of Chicago's Hispanic community the artist has been connected to his entire life. The social realist/surrealist landscape depicts a Chicago factory at Canal and Cermak on Chicago's West side where many Hispanics worked, indluding the artist's mother. When more technological advances reached the factory floor, workers were required to increase their productivity resulting in many injuries and RSI - Repetitive Strain Injuries.
