Figurative Magical oil Painting, Figurative Painting 34" x 65" inch by Ion Xiua. Mixed technique.
A magical moment, in which we recognize that we are one with the animals. The animals and us, companions who inhabit this planet. We both feel, move, eat and love. At what point do we move away from them and use them as things? The process of my paintings begins with a material base to prepare a strong surface and on this I create textures. Then I apply a first layer of color letting chance do its work, then I apply a first layer of oil, also without thinking or analyzing, simply letting my hand go. At this point I stop and observe what has manifested and I follow that path until the final result, where in successive layers a new world emerges. Where do these figures come from? is a mystery to me. Oil on canvas made with professional Winsor & Newton colors protected with gloss varnish with UV protection. It is sent rolled and protected in a tube with a certificate of authenticity.
