Contemporary figurative oil on canvas painting by Polish artist Rafal Gadowski. Painting in pop art style depicting apples. Colors are saturated and vibrant. Title of this painting is 'Apples 23' and it is a part of artist's cycle called 'An object' in which Gadowski depicts still lives with vegetables or fruits. RAFAŁ GADOWSKI (born in 1973) Studied at The European Academy of Arts in Warsaw Faculty of Painting, as well as at the Faculty of Graphic Art at the Cracow Academy of Fine Arts. He received his diploma in 1999. He participated in numerous collective and individual exhibitions. Gadowski’s works can be found in many private colletions in Poland and abroad. Paintings of Rafał Gadowski are characterised by intense and lively palette of colours. The subject of his work are elements of everyday life – he mainly paints animals and still lifes. His works can be divided into three cycles: “Object”, “Animal” and “Children”. Colour and light are the means of expression with which Gadowki creates artworks fulfilled with dynamics and detailed compositions. PROVENANCE Exhibited at Katarzyna Napiorkowska Gallery. The Gallery is a primary representative for this artist. The Gallery of Katarzyna Napiorkowska is one of the first private art galleries in Poland. For over 30 years, the gallery has been presenting contemporary paintings, graphics, drawings, and sculptures. Our galleries are located in Warsaw and Brussels. The portfolio of the Gallery includes selected objects of renowned Polish artists. In 2015, our Gallery was awarded the prestigious title of the Ambassador of the Polish Economy in the European Brand category awarded by the Business Center Club. CONDITION Very good condition. SHIPMENT The painting may arrive rolled in a strong tube or a box. Such a transport method is very safe for oversized works and provides lower shipping costs as well. Rolled works can be easily stretched by placing canvas onto wood stretcher bars and/or framed by a local framer upon arrival.
