In this Harlequin series work Berlin has The choreographer absent mindedly slipping on a ballet slipper. The hand is hardly discernible on the canvas as it is in his mind. His gaze and concentration are inwardly focused upon the forthcoming performance, the background is an abstract expression of his creative thought…... the glorious colours and intricate geometry express his innermost inspiration.
The artist grinds and mixes his own pigments making his own paints which have a wonderful textural finish
