About the Item
Oil on canvas dating from the 50s whose subject strangely resembles Barbara, the French singer. If it is really her, I am unable to confirm that she played the guitar, or that it is a fantasy of the artist. Anyway, this portrait is beautifully made. The majority cold tones are enhanced by warm, muted tones. These colors intelligently highlight the relative sadness of the look. One feels there the night, the difficulty of the task, but also the assumption, chosen term of this existentialist period, by the dignity of the pose. Signed lower right. We cannot decipher the signature. Measurement : with frame: 101,4x74 cm - 39.9x29.1 inches, without frame: 81x54 cm - 31.9x21.25 inches, format 25M.

- Out of Sight 1Located in Ibadan, Oyo"Out of Sight" by Chinedu Chidebe: An Artistic Exploration of the Human Condition Chinedu Chidebe's artwork "Out of Sight" is a powerful expression of the human condition. The artwork is a mixed media piece that incorporates acrylic paint and oil on canvas. At first glance, the artwork appears to be a chaotic mess of lines and colors. However, upon closer inspection, the piece reveals a deep and thoughtful exploration of the hidden aspects of the human experience. The painting is dominated by a large central figure, which appears to be a representation of the human form. The figure is twisted with its long neck and round ears of lines and colors. The figure's face contorted in agony. Chidebe's artwork is a poignant exploration of the hidden aspects of the human experience. The twisted and contorted central figure suggests the pain and suffering that many people experience in their lives. The surrounding calm suggests the confusion and disorientation that can often accompany difficult experiences. The patch of blue...Category
