A small but very intricate painting by a Ukrainian artist, Vachagan Narazyan. This oil on linen painting was acquired from Tamara Tumasian gallery in Kharkiv in 2008. It is in excellent condition, framed by the artist.

Vachagan Narazyan
Vachagan Narazyan is a Ukrainian artist. He was born in Kislovodsk, Russia in 1957 and received his artistic training at the Kharkiv Art Academy. He is known for his allegorical scenes, where he creates an imaginary world filled with mystical structures, objects and people. His works are reminiscent of Peter Bruegel the Elder from old masters and Cornelis Escher from new painters. Narazyan lived in Kharkiv before the war. It is unknown where the artist lives now.
