About the Item
Circular oil and acrylic painting by artist Wenyu Zhu. This work shows an amazing scenery, in which a resilient butterfly is flying fearlessly over the ocean. Taking a closer look, we can see the waves in rich texture and vivid colour. It is in perfect condition. The canvas is made of cotton and the finition is done by permanent varnish for longterm preservation.
Wenyu Zhu is a Chinese born artist living in Paris, France. She graduated from the École supérieure d'art du Nord Pas de Calais Dunkerque. She then continued her studies at the École supérieure libre d'art de Paris to obtain her doctorate. In recent years, her works have been widely collected by the Ministry of National Education (France), as well as by museums, galleries and collectors in China and France.
