About the Item
This painting has been built up over the last two years. I started it as one of my seasons changing series, however my thoughts changed with the time. My mind was full of climate change and how man is accelerating the problem. I have symbolised this with a man-made stone wall strong at first but crumbling away at the end of this scene. Trees play part a strong part in all my work. In this scene, you can see all the seasons changing from winter to Autumn and towards the end of the painting trees dying in marsh lands in the moon light. Also in this scene, it is a bright sunny day in the winter at the start, then there is a sunset in autumn then a dark moon lit night at the end This painting is a diptych with each canvas measuring 150cm wide.
