About the Item
Artist Comments
This piece came to me all at once. I had been thinking about this particular shade of misty green for a few days, and then this painting came out all in one session. It reminds me of a dream sequence, or something out of deep history. The painting is on gallery wrapped canvas with finished black edges. It comes ready to hang.
About the Artist
Carole Moore works as a massage therapist and finds a lot of inspiration in her various clients. Art is something she needs to do - she feels irritated when she goes without painting for too long. Oftentimes, she sits on her feet while painting and does not notice they are asleep until she tries to get up. She enjoys spending time with her family, tending her garden and rock climbing. Carole currently lives in California, but was an exchange student in Mexico and Japan and was highly influenced by both cultures.

- Pink Trees, Original PaintingBy Janet DyerLocated in San Francisco, CA
Artist Comments
Artist Janet Dyer presents a panoramic scene flourishing with pink blossoming trees. "I love painting trees in spring," shares Janet. She captures the beauty of a grove nearby a parking lot. The expressive paint application builds up the atmosphere of the wind rustling through the leaves.About the Artist
Janet Dyer doesn’t like to spend too much time talking about her art, as she’d rather be creating it. She doesn’t have an artist statement, the traditional statement of purpose crafted by visual artists to explain their method. On becoming an artist, Janet simply states, “I picked up some crayons and pencils and brushes and kept using them.†She believes the process of creating art is equal in importance to the final product. The artist enjoys relinquishing control of her paintings to find delightful surprises in her so-called “mistakes.†Janet's expressively gestural yet bucolic landscapes are a testament to the success of her method.Words that describe this painting: landscape, spring, blossoms, trees, panoramic, small, woods, grove, acrylicpaint, impressionism, landscape, acrylic painting, green
