A charming depiction of bustling cars, street lights and buildings in New York City with much movement and whimsicality. A cozy impressionistic street scene with colors of rouges, pinks, and burnt sienna's. This painting was painted on site by the artist. An iconic street scene with beautiful brushwork and whimsical details, this piece captures the essence of an Empire State View From 5th Avenue just above 23rd Street, NYC. This piece is signed and dated lower left and comes framed ready to hang with wire on verso.

Having built a diverse body of work since her early career ranging from portraits to abstract paintings of the universe, today Cindy's works exhibit a more impressionistic technique. She is mostly known for her consistent impressionistic street scenes which resemble the Ashcan school, depicting old cars on the road during the early 20th Century. Her whimsicality is precious, leaving much room for nostalgia in her works. For more than a decade her works have been a part of several important Exhibitions throughout New York City. Her works are part of private collections including ‘Dr. Issac Shohar’ and ‘Zion Yakabov’ in Tel Aviv, Israel, and ‘Alex Acevedo’ on Madison Ave., New York.
PROVENANCE: Lilac Gallery Collection. Consigned by the gallery directly from Cindy Shaoul Studio. The artwork is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity issued by the artist. The piece will be stamped from Lilac Gallery on its verso.
